Who I am …

Mary Alice is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and lifelong resident of the local area.  She received her Master of Social Work from Tulane University in New Orleans.  Mary Alice has many years of experience working in a school based early intervention program and enjoys working with children and families.

Mary Alice is known for her professional, yet down to earth and caring style.  As a therapist,  Mary Alice helps children and their parents achieve positive behavioral change, improve their relationships, and create more personal growth in their lives.

Mary Alice has training in Cognitive Behavioral Treatment, which is one of the most effective therapies used to treat children and adolescents.  Mary Alice also specializes in Trauma-Focused CBT, helping individuals and their parents overcome many of the difficulties associated with traumatic events.
